Prologue

I remember it like it was yesterday. The cold, wet sand, under my bare feet. The warm breeze coming off the water, with the salty sweet smell of the ocean, carried with it. The moon reflecting off the calm body of water. Bliss. Then I saw him. He was beautiful. His glistening body reflecting the moonlight as if he were just in the water. Tall and handsome. Like a prince from the fairytales I’d overheard as a young boy, just perfect. His hair, blond, and like the finest of silk, hung over the left side of his perfectly angular face.  His eyes, set perfectly in his face, were the colour of the ocean. Aquamarine. With shades of navy around the pupil. As he saw me, he smiled, a full toothed smile, of beautiful pearls set perfectly in order. Adrien.
